Leadership Seminar

Investment Seminar
The Young Professional Committee organized an Investment Seminar held on June 13th, 2004 at the Kuwait Sheraton conducted by Kashif Khan. Mr. Ashish Bhugra, Citibank Country Manager Bahrain and Mr. Gokhan Unal, Managing Director MFS-Investment Management Middle East were the speakers respectively. With 168 attendees, the seminar was a huge success.
July 20, 2003Exhibition on Pakistan Tourism & Culture
At The Kuwait Fine Arts Gallery - Beirut Street, Hawally Under the patronage of His Excellency, Ambassador of The Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The Exhibition continued for three days.
May 2003Medical Assistance Committee appealed to the KPFA members for helping a young Pakistani, whose one kidney has already been removed, and second kidney has a small cancer that needs special treatment which can kill the cancer, but treatment is available in UK only. As a result of KPFA appeals and efforts by Dr. Mohammad Saeed Khan, FRCS, Chairman Medical Assistance committee and Dr. Zafar Aman Sheikh, the Pakistani community generously donated enough money to bear travel and treatment expenses in UK. The patient was successfully operated in London on 29th May and now has recovered by the grace of Almighty Allah. KPFA and the young Pakistani thank to all who came forward and donated generously towards this humane cause. May 22, 2003

May 2, 2003Formation of KPFA Young Professionals Committee
Pakistani Youth Professionals group, consisting of 10 members, represented by Kashif Shafi Khan and Nabeel Akhtar attended this KPFA meeting as observers and presented their ideas and willingness to join KPFA within the limits of KPFA Constitution and accepted its terms and conditions. Mr. Kashif handed over a presentation and stated that KPFA young Professional's Committee will work to promote young professionals by bringing them together, providing guidance for young people to find jobs through mutual help, mentoring, prepare resume book, have Who is Who in the community, arrange events and seminars on the trends in the industry and invite eminent professionals to educate/enlighten the young professional.
